Clarification re: Free Domain Application

Even after my recent revamping of our Hosting Application in a attempt to make it as easy as possible for all applicants to understand, I am still getting incorrectly filled-out applications for Free Domains, so I feel the need to clarify FanStar.org’s position on Free Domains once again:

  1. FanStar.org will provide Free Domains (of your choice .com/.net/.org) for established sites only.
  2. To qualify for a Free Domain, you must already have a site that has a HQ design, full content and a history of regular updates hosted on a Subdomain either here or at another host.
  3. FanStar.org will only provide a Free Domain for your established site and not for any other site.
  4. If you do NOT meet our qualifications for a Free Domain, you may apply for a Free Subdomain.
  5. Do NOT apply for a Free Domain unless you have a site that meets our qualifications.
  6. Do NOT “apply” for anything on our Contact Form. You must fill out an application.
  7. You can’t ADOPT a Domain that I do not already own. If it’s not on the list, forget it.
  8. Adopting a Free Domain that I already own and getting a Free Domain of your choice are two different things. Do NOT ask to ADOPT a Domain that I do NOT own already!
