If you want it, feel free to utilize it. If not, that’s fine, too, because I would honestly be skeptical about anything you’d have to say about FanStar.org or any other fansite host and I would advise anyone else who reads your “reviews” to do the same. I don’t know you well enough to judge your character, but based on the fact that you seem to feel comfortable enough judging mine without the benefit of actually knowing me, I’ll take anything you have to say about me with a grain of salt.

In regards to server costs and free domains, I think it’s safe to assume that ALL fansite hosts are going through the same issues, but we do what we can when we can. If you really love what you are doing, then that is your “reward”. If you are in it for the money/popularity, then your actions will speak for themselves. You will go after and try to get as many hostees as you can, any way you can. Since I do not approach other fansite hosts’ clients and try to steal them away from them or actively participate in frequent campaigns to gain more clientele, I would hardly call myself competitive. In the end, I guess some people see things the way they want to see them, regardless of the facts.

If you not agree with the review of your host, why do you not write me an E-mail? It’s not easy to collect all the informations because not every host display all informations I need.

Yes, I’m the owner of 4fans.net, but in contrast of you, I don’t see other hosts as competitors! For me it’s not a problem if somebody choose an other host as mine and if somebody want leave us, I help the person to transfer the site to the other host. I do the host because I like fansites, I don’t want to be the no.1 host. Lots of host want earn money, my server costs are much higher than I earn with google ads, therefore I dont’t offer free domains, too.

I change all things you write here tomorrow, if you still find wrong stuff, please write me.

I think that is rude and unfair. I’m not going to name them, but what they expect me to write in another language? Hate? You can easily tranlate most languages with any browser with one click on a button, so it is easy to check the site if they abuse the hosting rules.

To be honest I didn’t expect you to host ASP (not that I needed it), because it is really expensive and most host don’t do it. But I never asked, so how would I have known People just take conclusions very easily…

Some of these people are starting to act desperate like crackheads that need a fix instead of nice people who want to make a fansite.
