All FanStar.org Hostees are required to read the rules and follow them. If you break the rules, you will be notified. Your site could be temporarily suspended or you could lose your site permanently!

Our Rules, Policies and Procedures:

1. We accept applicants of ALL skill levels: from Beginners to Advanced!
2. We accept sites in ALL different languages, but you must understand English.
3. Multiple hosted sites are allowed. You can have as many sites as you can handle!
4. If your application is approved, you have two weeks to open your site.
5. If you need more than two weeks to open your site, you must notify us.
6. Our ad code and link are required on every page in every section of your site.
7. Pornographic, obscene, racist, homophobic, hateful or illegal content is forbidden.
8. Operating a Store/Selling Items on your FanStar.org-hosted site is forbidden.
9. Ad codes, links and themes from other hosting companies are forbidden.
10. CuteNews is not allowed on our servers because it is very unsafe!
11. Changing any file or folder permission (CHMOD) to 777 is forbidden.
12. You are not allowed to redirect any FanStar.org URLs to Tumblr or anywhere else.
13. If you are going on hiatus or closing your account, you must notify us.
14. If your site appears to be abandoned (no recent updates), it will be deleted.
15. Stolen designs and/or content is forbidden. Don’t steal other people’s sh**!

Our Ad Code Guidelines

1. FanStar.org is sponsored by Google AdSense advertisements.
2. The ads are displayed either as TEXT, IMAGE or RICH MEDIA.
3. You must place the ad code at the TOP of your header or sidebar, not the BOTTOM.
4. The ad code must remain up on your site at ALL times.
5. You can customize the colors of the ad code to match your themes.
6. If you don’t know how to put the ad code on your site, we can do it for you.
7. If you don’t know how to customize the ad code colors, we can do it for you.
8. The only time you will see the ad code colors is when the ad is in TEXT mode.
9. Our Ad Code sizes are 728×90, 120×600, 160×600, 250×250, 300×250.
10. You are not allowed to remove, resize or hide the ad(s) in any way.
11. Blogs may display any one of the 5 different sizes of ad codes available.
12. Photo Galleries, Media Sites and Forums are required to display one 728 x 90 ad code.
13. Photo Galleries, Media Sites and Forums may require 2 ads if site bandwidth is very high.
14. We will send your ad code(s) and account information to you by e-mail.
15. Please save your ad code(s) and account information e-mails for future reference.
